TESTIMONIALS
EXCELLENT Based on 202 reviews Posted on Google Can TeaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The massage itself was good, which I really appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The building and facilities felt outdated, and the sheets and setup didn’t look fresh, which made it hard to relax. Additionally, the receptionist rushed us, which affected the welcoming atmosphere. While the massage was good, the environment and service need improvement.Posted on Google assad mamuryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional and great staffPosted on Google Colleen KoromaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband and I visited the Jade Spa this past weekend after he gifted me a Way Spa gift card. I chose this location because of the appealing spa packages they offered. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, which was a nice touch. As part of the package, they offered "light refreshments." However, instead of providing them on-site, they asked what we would like and then went to purchase a turkey sandwich and fruit from the city market across the street. While this was a bit unexpected, we appreciated the effort to fulfill the promise. The couples massage experience was somewhat cramped. The room was small, and while the massage beds weren't the most comfortable (especially for my tall husband, though I understand that's not the spa's fault), the space felt tight. The therapists had to frequently move the beds and walk in and out of the room for supplies, which disrupted the flow of the treatment and made it harder to fully relax. While the massage itself was not exceptional, I did enjoy the facial and foot massage components of the package. One thing to note: the 90-minute massage included exfoliation and detox as part of the package, but I had initially assumed that meant 90 full minutes of just massage plus those treatments. In reality, the exfoliation and detox were part of the 90-minute window, so the actual massage time was shorter than expected. The main reason I’m leaving a review is because of an issue we encountered at checkout. We used a $200 Way Spa gift card, but were informed that the discount package price shown on their website was only available if you paid directly to the spa. Apparently, the Way Spa gift card incurs a 20% processing fee, which meant we couldn’t benefit from the advertised package deal. This made our total $100 more than if we had paid out of pocket. Additionally, we still had to cover taxes and gratuities, bringing our final bill to $300 for a single spa package. This felt a bit misleading, as the price discrepancy wasn’t clear when booking. Had the overall experience been more positive, I might have been willing to overlook this price issue, but between the unexpected costs and the less-than-ideal spa treatments, my husband and I left feeling disappointed. I had expected a more relaxing and rewarding experience, especially given the cost and the high reputation of Way Spa-affiliated locations. For the same price or less, you could have a much more luxurious and relaxing experience at places like the St. Regis Spa, which are also part of the Way Spa network and provide exceptional service with no hidden fees or surprises. While the staff at Jade Spa was friendly and some aspects of the treatment were enjoyable, based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend it.Posted on Google Mary HannahTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went here for the first time, Crystal, Linda and Anna were so kind and welcoming! They offered us a discount as first-timers. Crystal was super professional and very understanding of my needs. Linda did so great, that my bf fell asleep! Lol. We did the head and shoulders massage, including scalp massage, and for a little treat, Crystal threw in a hot stone massage on my tense areas. It was amazing! It's a cozy little spot, and the ladies are truly so sweet. Highly recommend.Posted on Google C LuTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got a last minute appointment for my friend and I for a massage & facial. Good central location but it is on the 2nd floor without an elevator so be prepared to climb a flight of stairs. Friendly staff but minimal communication. During the session everything felt rushed and routine. I admit that I hadn't had a massage in a very long time but I felt like I was being put thru the wringer. I should have spoken up but I was hoping it was over sooner rather than later. Facial was decent and enjoyed that moreso. On the flip side, my friend enjoyed both massage and facial. I like the fact that direct billing is available and very convenient. Overall this is a good no frills option when in a pinch.Posted on Google Lynne LiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I came here for the first time and got a detox facial. I was running late because of subway delays and was pretty stressed out but the esthetician (I believe she was Linda) was very reassuring and she gave me the full time, which I greatly appreciated. She used a device for hydrosuction to remove my blackheads then ultrasound for deeper hydration and close my follicles. She then gave me a hydrating facial with a collagen mask followed by a facial and neck massage. I thought the service was great and she checked in with me throughout the treatment to ensure I was comfortable. I used a WaySpa gift card - just a heads up that they have different rates if you do, which I wasn't aware of going in.Posted on Google Atta JiroftyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
